The management of the SM Supermalls recently conducted a joint security tactical inspection at SM City San Pablo last Friday, January 29 2016 as part of its commitment in ensuring the safety of its mall shoppers.
The inspection, headed by Engr. Antolin Paule, Senior Vice President for Engineering and Security Affairs, was participated in by security personnel of SM City San Pablo.
Both security manpower skills along with their equipment were checked, including protocols for emergencies, accidents and alertness. Likewise, agency personnel for janitorial work were also inspected.
Apart from the inspection, commendation and awards were also given to security guards for returning money, cellphones and other valuables back to shoppers.
SM AVP for CRS Almus J. Alabe gave words of encouragemen on discipline and courtesy as tangible traits to work on. He reiterated that customers are the most vital asset of the company therefore security and customer satisfaction should be the heart of each one’s responsibility. SM AVP for Operations John Jason Terrenal was also present in the affair and he said that SM’s growth is also attributed to the trust given to the security force of the mall.
Present during the inspection of the security force’s performance are SM’s Senior Vice President for Engineering and Security Affairs Engr. Antolin Paule and Regional Manager South Luzon 4 for operations Ms. Angel Toreja, Mall Maanger of SM City San Pablo GT Exconde, Asst. Mall Manager Edessa Sibug as well as the five security agency providers. SM City San Pablo just made a delivery of 331 bears to Kalipi Foundation under DSWD headed by Inda Pamilar and Pastor Rico of DCG FM 107.1. and to Brgy San Rafael Day Care Center.The bears are gifts from customers who joined in the mall’s Bears of Joy campaign by purchasing a pair of bears, one to keep and the other to gift to a charity.
Kids happily showed their bears of Joy with Marketing Officer Enrico Bautista , Asst Mall Manager Edessa Sibug and Marketing Manager Roselle Ayala
Kalipi Foundation is supported by DSWD that provide sustainable livelihood for women . Their works for the causes of empowering mothers, providing for the homeless, malnourished and out-of-school kids and giving better chances to poor families.The foundation provides safe shelter, food, health, counseling and education.
For the turnover, a team of SM led by Mall Manager GT Exconde brought the bears over to Pastor Rico with almost 200 kids waiting. The volunteers also played with the kids who were all eager to get a bear. SM City San Pablo thanks all its shoppers who participated in this campaign.
