The Tour of Papal relics showcases various historical and sacred collection of liturgical vessels used during the papal masses, stoles used by the various Popes and concelebrating priests during masses and special occasions and other things or belongings used by St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVII, Pope Benedict and Pope Francis, among others.
According to SM City San Pablo’s Public Relations Manager Nina Wong “Laguna province alone have more or less 86 Catholic churches, and San Pablo City where an SM Mall is situated has a lot of Catholic devotees that’s why this is a once in a lifetime and a must see exhibit”.
Historically the churches around the Laguna shows a big influence in the Catholic faith’s beginnings and its role in the spiritual and cultural development of the community. The Tour of the Papal Relics at SM City San Pablo will be until Friday, June 30th in Mall Atrium.
