HUE OF BLUE AT SM KIDS

blue hue

Little girls are feeling blue – in the very best way as SM Kids highlights the Hue of Blue in its new collection of dresses. These are dream dresses in sea meets sky shades that play with fabrics, patterns, and prints.

Taking a page from their older sister’s fashion playbook, these are dresses that are pretty with floral prints, touches of lace, and bows; as well as trendy with off shoulder and striped looks.  Denim dresses in chambray give a bit of edge; while boho touches have a free- spirited appeal.

The Hue of Blue collection is available at the SM Kids Department of The SM Store.

Cyberzone Cosplay Craze Invaded SM City San Pablo

Cosplay is a shortened form of two words – costume and play. The early 90s saw the rising of cosplay into pop culture, although it probably originated initially in Japan. It is the practice of portraying a fictional character – at times completely identifying as that character while in costume (and thus acting as if the individual was that character to add to the authenticity of the experience).

A very unique form of performance art -SM Cyberzone has come up with the biggest Cosplay event in the country- Cosplay Craze –a cosplay competition where cosplayers can show their love for their favorite character in their most creative costume. .There are no fees to join the contests and no tickets to buy. There are no reference picture requirements and the contest will focus mostly on the merit of the costume during the pre-judging portion. Top 20 contestants will then go up on stage to compete in the best cosplay performance. In addition to the Top 3 winners, 5 random contestants will also receive prizes. Plus, the first place winner will also win a slot in the Cosplay Mania Cup.

PR Manager Niña Wong said “Cosplay is about two things, first is about expressing yourself with the things that you love and the second thing is being part of a community that embraces your awesomeness, and SM is just ecstatic to be the main venue for the most exciting cosplay competition of the year!” There is that exhilarating experience being able to portray your favorite character, she added.

Here in SM City San Pablo – it was all fun and excitement as the Mall atrium transformed into one colorful cosplay convention. From Voltes V to One Punch Man- it was indeed a real treat for shoppers. For more updates follow SM City San Pablo Facebook and Instagram page.
